They held their ground, and even began to advance toward me. We all growled as an all out charge was composed. I ran forward, my arms and wings spread and my claws sharp and hungry to have the feeling of blood staining it. I jumped into the air and shunpoed straight down toward them. I slashed at Honoo, and in the same motion sent a kick toward Inazumi. My attacks were fierce and unnerving. Each connected and I knew that Inazumi and Honoo were feeling each one. I spun and slashed rapidly in an X shape with both my claws at Inazumi before flipping backward and doing a drop kick on Honoo that sent him sprawling onto the ground. I landed on ground and quickly scrambled to my feet, dancing about in a crouched like stance as I moved about. Honoo stood up, not saying a word as he dusted himself off. In the blink of an eye, his elbow had connected with my face. Pain exploded throughout my body and I thought I saw stars as I flew through the air, semi-conscious. Inazumi appeared above me and rapidly punched my in my gut. Blood shot from my mouth as I felt my stomach twisted up in pain from the explosive punches. I crashed into the ground, another crater forming. My body was twitching as I lied there, wanting to die. I couldn't beat them. They were just to strong and I was just to scared.

The 2 of them appeared before me. They grinned as they were about to prepare for the final blow.
Inazumi told you and you didn't listen. You didn't embrace your fear but instead tried to suppress it. You'll never learn and that's why you shall die here and now.
Honoo lunged forward with his claw aimed at my heart. As he spoke to me, I had a relapse of my life and this made me want to live, but I then realized that one couldn't live without fear. You needed fear to live.

As I came to this sudden realization, something inside of me snapped. My rei exploded out, destroying all the tombs in the area. Honoo and Inazumi were thrown back from the sheer force of it. I stood, my eyes cold and thoughtless as I peered at them.
Fall into oblivion Honoo and Inazumi.
Their eyes widened in shock and surprise at what had just transpired. My rei had turned pitch black and was growing by the second. I felt all my powers returning to me and more.

My eyes had turned pitch black. I had totally enveloped my fear and out of that was born something new. I was no longer just Itami. I had become Nappa Itami. A being of fear and anger. A psychotic being who wanted nothing but destruction. How I knew this, well since I had took in the fear, I was able to do more. I could read my zans minds and that told me everything. This power, it felt great and yet terrifying. I wasn't in control but something else was. I was just a passenger along for the ride. With a screeching roar, I appeared before the to spirits. They stood their ground against me, unwavering as they were proud spirits.

Honoo rushed at me. He fired off blast after blast of hot flames. I let them engulf my body. I stood there, the flames rising and falling menacingly around me as I stared down at them. My hand shot forward and I grabbed Honoo by the throat. I slammed him into the ground so hard that he was instantly knocked unconscious.

This can't be. You were pose to be sleep. How..how did you awaken? This is impossible.
I stared at Inazumi, not saying a word. I raised my clawed hand and slashed. Blood spurted from the wound as he dropped to his knees. It wasn't fatal, but he wouldn't be trying to continue this fight. I roared once again, my rei exploding out and causing upscale damage to the graveyard. The ground was uprooted and turned. Skeletons and other grave stuff that was buried could be seen. I took in the power of Honoo and Inazumi to complete the returning of my power.

I felt this great power that I had been feeling subside slowly til it was completely gone. I fell out, exhausted from the battle. Suddenly a bright flash occurred and I was back in the secret lab, on the floor where I had fallen out. I coughed as I stood up and what I saw shocked me. There lied Ayame, in pieces upon the lab table. I growled and cursed the person that could have done this.

Tachi spent a while walking along the barracks- He saw a few Shinigami fighting inmates, but didn't pay them much mind. He had his own problems to deal with.. After gathering the courage to do so, Tachi made his way towards the lab. Itami's and Rizu's bodies- That's what he was going for. It wasn't right to leave them in the lab to rot. Tachi's emotional stability had gone out the window- He fluctuated between wanting to laugh, wanting to cry and wanting to scream. He wasn't really in the best state of mind. With his hand on his Zanpakuto's hilt in case there were any unwelcome personnel inside, Tachi opened the door and took a shakey step in, unsure of how he was going to do this.

*Half way down the stairs to the lab, Rizu feels Tachi's aura and whips around to look up at him.* Tachi-kun! *She freezes as she looks him over, seeing him donning her father's haori, albeit altered. Clenching her jaw, she makes her way back down towards the lab. There was no time.*

My ears perk up as I hear movement. Somebody was coming. I didn't want anybody to know that I had regained my powers yet, so I quickly put my arms inside of my hoari and moved it so that they couldn't be seen. I then suppressed my rei to what it was before I had regained them. As the movement neared, I looked up to find Rizu coming down the stairs.
Rizu...what's going on here? What has happened to Ayame?

Tachi stood frozen still. He started shaking so bad it turned into tremors. No... It couldn't have been Rizu. She couldn't have just been going towards the lab. She couldn't had called his name. She was dead. She was burned alive and dead. Honjo said it himself. He killed her. He killed them up. Tachi drew Houritsu-no-Kagyakuai quickly and dashed to the lab. He froze again as he saw Itami and Rizu. Alive. Not dead. There. Alive. Honjo had lied? Or had they found some way to live? What was going on? They were alive. Alive. Alive. That couldn't be true. They were dead. He was told they were dead. They were supposed to be dead. He fell to his knees and held his Zanpakuto in front of himself as if to shield himself from this "false" reality. The inversed and cut haori clung tightly to him, better trying to distance himself from what couldn't be real.

*Rizu walked over to Itami and breathed a sigh.* Ajiro happened, Itami. I had feared he got you, too. *Walking over to Ayame's broken body, her chin quivered.* She can be mended. I helped create her, I can fix her. *Looking over as she hears a clamour, she sees Tachi on the ground.* Tachi-kun. Where is my father.

My face drops as I hear Ajiro's name. My body began to tremble uncontrollable as my anger was taking hold. I knew that if I didn't calm myself than my secret would be revealed. I took a deep breath before nodding at Rizu. I took notice of Tachi and his grim outlook.
Tachi what's wrong.

Tachi looked up at Rizu's face, his Zanpakuto still held tightly in front of himself. Tears were streaming down from his eyes and hitting the floor, dark stains spreading from the impacts. "Th-that.. That bastard.. He said.. He said you were dead... He said Itami was dead... He said he killed both of you..." Tachi shifted as if he wanted to reach out and touch Rizu, but restrained himself, the tears blurring his vision and keeping him from doing much more than shake there violently. "I-I-Ita-ch-ch-chan... R-R-R-Rizu-s-san..... You... You aren't.. Supposed.. You're.... You're dead.. I thought you b-both.. were dead..."

*Staring coldly at Tachi, Rizu did not move.* We're not dead, Tachi-kun. Papa told you that to bring out your strength. Evidently it worked. I can feel a stronger presence from your zanpakuto. Shikai, I presume. Where is my father, Tachi-kun. You have his haori. Where is he.

I growled as I heard Tachi's words. I wanted to curse Honjo, but as I heard Rizu words, I calmed. I walked over to Tachi and put my forehead against his. I stared into his eyes.
Tachi everything will be ok. I'm here, not dead.

Tachi's eyes widened as he heard Rizu's words. The tears flowed worse for a moment. He thought she was dead, and, and... She sounded so uncaring.. If... If that's how she wanted to play, than.. He put all of his will into making the tears stop. "I have no idea where he went. He fought me, I lost, and I woke up and he was gone. He left his Haori over me anyways. Oh, but don't worry. You'll never have to see it again. You can have my resignation on your desk by tomorrow morning, Yukino-taicho." He didn't mean the words, but.. If she was going to be like this.. He wasn't going to let her see how torn up he is. His heart swelled when Itami spoke to him. Tachi seemed to lean forward slightly, pressing against his forhead for support. The tears started to flow again and Tachi pulled away, covering his face and curling up into the haori.

*Rizu winced at Tachi's response, realizing that she probably shouldn't have been so cold. Her expression softened and she bit the inside of her cheek to stop her chin from quivering.* Tachi-kun...I'm sorry. I should have known he gave it to you. I hope you'll stay. I...I need an assistant to help with Aya-chan.

I gave a sigh as I moved to sit beside Tachi. I moved in a way that still kept my arms from being seen. I nudged Tachi playfully.
Tachi Rizu didn't mean what she said. She's just been a little stressed. We all have been.

Tachi let out a sound like a gasping sigh, biting his lip as the tears spilled again. He laid his head down on Itami's shoulder, nodding rigidly. "... Okay, Rizu-san.. Okay.. I won't be going anywhere.." *... For now* He thought. He was just.. He was happy they were alive, at least. It let him subdue his true personality, more or less, at the moment. He wasn't giggling and trying to cut them into pieces, at least. He continued to cry as he leaned against Itami, studying Rizu "Aya-chan? That..." He closed his eyes for a second and then flashed them open again. "That girl over there, on the table?" He felt disgusted in the pit of his stomach at the sight.

I put my head down in respect for Ayame. I gave a growl that echoed in the lab.
I'm going to kill Ajiro. He will pay for his deeds. This isn't over.

Tachi was about to say something condoling for Rizu's loss of her sister, before he heard what Itami had said. He hadn't been paying much attention to the conversation earlier, so this mention of Ajiro shocked him. He had done this to Aya-chan? His Ajiro did this? That couldn't be true.. He couldn't have done that.. Ajiro never would have.. And if he did.. He must of had a good reason.. Right..? Tachi let none of his thoughts show on his face and mimicked what Itami was doing, refusing to say anything on the subject.

He mangled Aya-chan, look at her. He cut me without even hardly moving. He's fast. He's strong. He must be dealt with cautiously, or we'll all die.

I growled. I wanted to show that I'd regained my powers. At that moment, I wanted to destroy and kill. I tried to calm myself, breathing in and out. I tried thinking of the fact that Rizu and Tachi were there with me, and that helped me some.
