An important meeting

*Rizu walks through the halls of Squad 12 Headquarters, searching for Koga.* -It seemed pretty important for me to see him...I hope I'm not too late.- *She wanders the halls, searching for Koga's aura until she finds it and begins walking in his direction.*

Koga senses Rizu's spiritual energy nearby.
"hhmm she seems to be coming towards me."
Koga thinks to himself as he leans p against a wall nearby.
Koga waits for Rizu to come to him.

*Rizu walks a little further through the hall and turns the corner to see Koga leaning against the wall. She puts a quick skip in her step and stands in front of him, giving him a small wave and a bow of her head.* Aha, there you are. You wanted to see me Captain?

"Yea I was wondering if you would like to take the soul societys SECOND hardest test."
Koga's voice is serious as he speaks.
"The Lieutenants test is yours for the taking if you wish."
Koga continues to lean his back against the wall.

*Rizu's eyes widen as she stares up at Koga for what seems like forever. She realizes that she's spaced out and blinks with surprise, letting out a nervous laugh.* R-really?! I mean, yes! A-absolutely. I would love to take the Lieutenant's test. *She bows deeply and nervously traces the scarred mark on her chest out of new habit.*

"Well lets get to it."
Koga says with an easing smile.
"The test is VERY difficult. If you want you can back out now. It's life or death here."
Koga's voice is as serious as a gravestone.

*Without any hesitation, Rizu takes one step towards Koga.* If I didn't expect to have to risk my life at any place or time I wouldn't have become a shinigami. *With a smile, she looks up at him.* I wouldn't have wanted to be in your squad either if I didn't expect a few obstacles. I'm ready.

Koga's face goes from dead serious to teddy bear happy.
"Ok then here. Take this."
Koga holds out a small vial with white contaminents inside.
"Go to my office,inside you will see on the left wall,in the middle, will be a Squad 12 flower symbol. Walk AT that symbol and keep walking. You will emerge at some stairs. Go all the way down and put that vial on the rock table in the middle."
The vial is very heavily coated glass with seki seki rock layer and corks.
"Do this and you will become my Lieutenant."

*Rizu looks at the vial and then looks back up at Koga, studying his face.* Why do I sense a catch? *She reaches out for the vial and takes it, studying it briefly. She takes a deep breath and nods at Koga then turns around and begins to walk towards his office, placing the vial safely in the breast of her shihakusho. She looks back over her shoulder for a second at Koga and frowns slightly.* -I wonder...-

"OH its nothing really. Just DONT open it."
Koga says with a smile.
"Not even if your curiosity gets the best of you."
Koga says.
"Just remember if you open it. I WILL kill you."
Koga's continues to smile.

*Rizu chuckles slightly and nods, readjusting where the vial sits in her shihakusho to make sure it's safe.* I won't open it. *Rizu bows again and walks off, reaching Koga's office after a short walk. She looks to the wall and sees the thistle, Squad 12's flower, on the wall and walks directly at it, coming to a flight of stairs. Rizu looks down the staircase and around the area, scanning for auras.* Well...this seems simple enough.

*She walks down the stairs carefully until she reaches the landing and sees the table Koga spoke of.* Well, moment of truth. *Rizu takes a breath and walks to the table, gently removing the vial from her shihakusho and carefully places it in the center of the table.*

Koga continues to stand there.
"Now to wait and see what happens."
Koga grins,thinking about the mechanism he installed that if the glass was broken that the room would close off instantly.
Koga looked up at the sky,waiting for Rizu.

*Rizu stands there a moment and nothing happens. She smirks slightly and looks around.* What, no confetti or streamers? *She chuckles to herself quietly and looks back at the vial, making sure it is where it's meant to me. She nods to herself and walks back up the staircase and back through to Koga's office, then around the corner.* Well, I did as you asked Captain. *She stops a few steps in front of Koga and looks up at him, studying his face again.*

Koga looks over to Rizu.
"Welcome back Lieutenant Rizu."
Koga reaches into his hoari and pulls out a lieutenant badge.
Koga holds the badge over to Rizu.

*Shaking slightly, she reaches out for the badge and looks at it in her hands.* This...hah...I can't...*Rizu looks up at Koga and smiles.* It's almost hard to believe, but there it is...thank you. *She bows her head, clutching the badge in her left hand.* I won't let you down.

"You better not or I would have to kill you."
Koga says in a somewhat joking manner.
Koga stops leaning against the wall and brushes off the back of his haori.
"Well I'm off. See ya around Lieutenant. Also don't tell anyone about the vial will ya."
Koga smiles and shunpoes away.

*Rizu nods, looking up at Koga with a grin.* Of course, I'd expect it. *She lifts her hand in a wave and tilts her head slightly.* My lips are sealed. *As Koga shunpos away, she ties the badge onto her right arm and fastens it. Smiling, she walks away towards the barracks.*
