My pain is real!

That wasn't her father's voice. No, the speaker was a female, and sounded quite serious. Moritaka Nagisa. Junpei's mother. The white head knew better than to screw around when her mom was calling. "...What's up, mom?"

"Come home at once." At this, Junpei snorted, staring at the phone as if it had been the one to instruct her so ludicrously. "What do you mean by that? I just established roots for the family in America! I got my diploma, found myself a business partner--a Quincy to boot--and the businesses here are just ripe for the picking! Look, I know you miss me and everything, but Dad would be pissed if he heard you trying to send me--"

"Junpei." Immediately, the young girl shut her mouth, frowning. Nagisa hadn't sounded upset or snappy-- instead, her voice bled desperation. Something was wrong, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to know what it was.

"Enjoying your dip?"

Junpei's eyes flew open as she dropped her legs, her ribs feeling better. She walked closer to Ryder, and then gripped her Dogtags. So she was a Fullbringer. She had always known, but had mentally blocked off all that hardwork. All of it, with the single memory of her Father's dying. And she knew why, she gained all that power, and still couldn't protect her own family. That's why she buried her emotions, thats why she refused to touch the dogtags again. That was also why she began to wear them again. Her eyes fell back upon Ryder, she knew all about her power, but this woman knew more than she did. Just let it be, June

"I was. The water is fortified with mineral salt, various herbs, and a special formula that...promotes cellular activity...A restoration bath. Keeps the skin and hair healthy, as well as quickens the healing process. Don't tell anyone, its still illegal in some circles of government" She gave off a cheery smile, but it was fake despite its warm and friendly nature. "You enjoying the Estate so far?"

"I suppose I am" Ryder answered from where she sat, leaning lazily against the spa's wall with her normally heavy breasts floating weightlessly. "Hard to imagine such a restorative substance would be illegal though." Perhaps it was the placebo effect, of believing something would heal you, but Ryder couldn't deny that the water felt incredibly good, almost as though it were seeping into her flesh and turning back time and wear. "Does it have an illegal substance among it's ingredients or something? Some kind of drug or the like?"

This was all so strange to Barrie, who'd always lived such a minimalistic lifestyle. Sure she'd splurge once in a while on something nice for herself, but the sheer luxury that surrounded her was... overwelming to put it mildly. Never before in her life had she experienced such a... softening environment. If she ever came to live here, she would need to be sure she had her own building built somewhere on the side, where she could keep things simple and live her own way. This level of pampering and luxury was simply not something she was raised for. Once in a while was nice, but to live this way would only serve to make her soft.

"Junpei" she said matter-of-factly, addressing the redhead as she turned to face her once more. "I know you asked me to train you, and I'm here to do just that, but are you really ready to submit to that? I'd like to think I'm a good teacher, but I expect my students to treat me as their superior, and you..." she paused, carefully contemplating how to phrase what she would say next. "You seem like the sort of girl who's accustomed to getting what she wants, and doesn't know how to let someone else take the reigns."

These words resounded within June, as she allowed her mind to go on autopilot in response to the chemical make-up of the liquid they were bathing in. She relaxed her entire body and began to float atop the surface once again. Her breasts serving as a buoy of sorts. "The liquid is that of the...human life process...harvested...from my mother's now useless ovaries. Artificial insemination provides...the necessary cell growth...cloning and biological engineering...produce the final chemical. In short, Stem Cells. It's...a very promising field...shame about the...controversy."

Junpei's mind was wrapped around the words almost completely. A tear escaped from June's eye, however it looked to be just the water from before sliding down her face. "Is that how you see me? Some spoiled brat with everything she ever wanted. All just handed to her on a whim. A spoiled brat who doesn't understand the value of working for something that she wants...I killed hundreds of hollows for the sake of hearing the praise from my father. In the end, it was because I wasn't around that he died. I could have saved him, but I didn't. So if you want the reigns of my life, take them. Please...take them."

So I don't have to think anymore. June thought the last words, because she couldn't say them. She was tired of her life. Tired of the success. Tired of always being right. Tired of being given everything. Tired of being expected to be something she had no business being. Junpei Kazamashiro Dahlinghouse was simply just tired. She closed her eyes, and sank beneath the water. She would leave her life to Ryder to decide. Would she drown underneath the water meant to save her, or would she be pulled from the water. This was how June decided to seal her fate. Freedom from her life meant death, one way or another.

~Children... I'm soaking in the fluids of unborn children....~ the words sent a shock through Ryder, as her mind reeled back to her own daughter, whom she'd at least carried to term and given away. In light of this... this monstrously missappropriate use of human life, her actions didn't seem so bad. True she had left her daughter to grow up without her own mother, but that little girl DID get to grow up, and DID have parents who hopefully loved her very much.

Closing her eyes to hide the tears, Ryder willed away the anger she had at the pool. Her mother, on the other hand, had a lot to answer for. To conceive children only to turn them into this... it was unthinkable. How could a mother do such a thing to an innocent child was something Ryder could not comprehend, not could she forgive it. Had 'madam Dahlinghouse' been there right then, the soldier very well may have done something she would have regretted.

Laying there, eyes closed with tears trickling down her face, Ryder listened on as Junpei over-reacted to her earlier statement and question. Where Ryder had only expressed a surface viewpoint and asked to be sure the child was ready to submit to such training, Jun, in typical teenage fashion, had taken it as an attack on her character. "I don't want your reigns kid, I just wanted to be sure you knew what the fuck you were getting into, and that you would need to submit as an apprentice. And what the fuck is with this 'killed hundreds of hollows' bullshit when earlier today you were acting like you hadn't ever seen one before? Which is it?"

Only silence answered the woman, who gave the girl a few minutes to reply before turning and opening her eyes, only to see that Jun was submerged. "Right, typical teenager, mouth off then seal yourself off from any sort of retort." As she sat there, watching the girl under the water though, it became clear to Ryder that something wasn't right at all. A burst of bubbles shot out of the girl's mouth, yet she stayed where she was.

Right there infront of her this child, this stupid little girl was drowning. Reacting before she even had a chance to think about it, the woman rose to her feet and dove in the girl's direction, cutting through the water to wrap her arms around Junpei's soft skin and draw her to the surface, holding her abdomen closely from behind as she checked to be sure the girl was still breathing.

"Come on kid, please be ok" she whispered, the sorrow and pain from her earlier tears strongly evident through the soldier's voice, her strong arms holding securely but gently around June's stomach. Should it be necessary, Ryder was fully prepared to lay her on her back on the 'poolside' and begin CPR if necessary. Fate had given her a second chance, and she was not about to lose a second girl.

June felt the arm about her waist, and holding firm of her. As she was pulled upward, she could only hear the sound of rushing water pass her ears, as the light from the ceiling became brighter and brighter. As her head broke the surface of the water, she issued the water gathered in her mouth. It merely leaked out like an overflowing cup. Hey eyes, fluttered for a second as she looked up at the ceiling again. Her mind was a blank, as she slowly slipped unconsciousness. Death come swiftly and free me from my prison, for I know all to well why the caged bird sings A face shot out in her mind and called her name. With this June's eye's flew open and she clutched at the Dogtags. Her body became enveloped in red hue, as her Dogtags exploded and surrounded her. She would step free of Ryder, and slowly climb atop the water. Her body becoming enshrouded in her own Reiryoku, it was thick and heavy, but held a very weak Reiatsu.

The Reiryoku began to solidify around Junpei's body. A backless militant styled dress solidified upon her body, tastefully colored in white, black, and vibrant red respectively. Her arms were then covered in sleeves, which were uniformed to her dress. Around the upper part of her arm, she had large iron cuffs with a steel-tipped ribbon hanging from it. Her legs covered in a black legging, which are stuffed into a pair of red, white, and gold boots. Atop her head is a red beret. A Clad-type Fullbring...or so it seemed.

Her eyes were dulled, signifying that she was still unconscious. Slowly, ivory white modified .44 Long Barreled Magnums formed in her hands. "For my father..." She walked across the surface of the water, clearly heading to leave the house. The unconscious Junpei was heading back into town to kill Hollow's until she was relieved of her remaining strength. It was clear this girl had more problems than just a dead father, and a distant mother.

Holding the child desperately arms, her breasts smooshed into her back, Ryder could only watch and wait as water flowed from Junpei's mouth. "Please hold on Junpei..." she whispered, shifting her grip and getting ready to lay the girl out on the concrete for CPR, but Ryder never got the chance. While Ryder was busy getting ready to reposition Junpei for treatment, the redhead fiercely clenched her dog tags, awakening some peculiar power in a release of red energy.

Startled by the sudden release, Ryder offered Junpei no resistance as the child stepped away, ascending to stand upon the water's surface, as that red aura intensified, thickening with power.

"What the fuck is going on..." Ryder cursed, backing herself up against the spa's side wall and forcibly climbing out of it as she watched the scene unfold before her eyes. There infront of her, standing ontop of the water was that same tightly disciplined, all 'together' girl, who had been freaked out by her 'first' Hollow encounter hours earlier, manifesting what the Quincy could only surmise was some sort of spiritual uniform not unlike what one might see one of the more practical magical girl characters wear.

As Ryder's feet touched down on the concrete, so too did Junpei's transformation complete, leaving a regal young woman in full battle atire standing atop the water, with something else manifesting in her hands. "Fuck I've seen everything now, the kid makes her own guns out of thin air." These weren't a Quincy manifestation, at least not like any she had seen before, but instead a pair of solid, 'real' large-calibur handguns.

~For her father?~ the girl had lost it completely. Ryder was only half way to her clothes when Junpei spat out those words and leaped across the water. "Dammit I don't have much time" she cursed as she yanked on the dress and pulled her pistol out of it's holster, running after the girl. In this state of mind who knew what she would do, either to innocent people who got in the way, to herself, or to dumb perverts that tried messing with her 'naked' body.

"JUNE!" Ryder's voice echoed through the grand hallway as she pursued the girl, soon catching up to her and firmly gripping her by the shoulder. "June, it's me, Ryder. Snap out of it. Come on kid, wake up." Even as she called out to the child, Ryder's eyes were trained on those shoulders, watching for a sign those pistols would turn on her.
