Sword Practice

I carried my Kendo down the Zanjutsu hall toward the Zanjutsu training field. Me and my brother planned on practicing our Zanjutsu to get better. I reached the end of the hall and opened the door entering the training field. It was about 20 yards in all directions and had quite a few trees and plants. I went all the way to the opposite end of the field and sat under a tree. Here is where I will wait for Dami I had decided.

Wow its really nice out here do you think?
*I ask my bro as i walk in the field*
Look at you slacking off. Just sitting in the shade doing nothing
*I smile and stop walking about 10 feet from Itami*
So whats your excuses slacker?

"All I have to say is that nothing but training and increasing my skills is really worth my time. If it isn't something really important then I'm not going to put my attention into it. Besides it feels nice under the shade."
I stand up smiling. I look around the field 1 more time to really take my surroundings in. I don't know why, but when it comes to battle my senses feel heightened and I just love the feel and sound of it. I love pushing myself to become better and I will become better. I raise my Kendo and point towards my brother.
"Give me everything you got."

Hope your ready
*I smile and hold my kendo and rush Itami*
Here i come!
*Once im close enough to reach him I say with a smile*
Better move.
*I quickly side step and extend my arm to poke Itami in his side*

I could see Dami coming and easily knew how to counter his attack. I took my kendo and swatted his away from me.
"Ha, you call that an attack."
I smile with a devilish grin as I spin and swing my kendo at Dami toward his sword arm.

*I quickly flip my kendo around to be alined with my arm blocking Itami's attack. I Take another side step to line up with the tree that was be-hide Itami. I jump into the air and use both my legs to launch myself off the tree and at Itami.*
Hows this?
*I swing my kendo At at Itami*

I was quite impressed with Dami's improvisation skills.
"Good use of your surroundings Dami."
I duck under Dami as he comes at me.
"But not good enough."
I take my kendo and jab straight up at Dami as I slide under him.

*I get jabbed in my stomach and fly right in the ground head first. I get up brush my face off*
Ow that hurt...... guess i should thought that threw.
*I smile*
Round two.
*I hold up my kendo*
Come at me.
*I wait for Itami to make a move*

I smirk as I get back into a sword stance.
"Brother you know that I'm a better swordsman so you really shouldn't be surprised if you fine yourself dusting off a lot more today."
I jump straight into the air and begin to spin. I point straight down at Dami and increase my spinning.
I hope you like this cause I've been working on this for quite some time now."

Hope you thought that threw
*I Step backwards so Itami is falling parallel to me. I hold my kendo like a bat and wait for he kendo to to be in front of me and I swing at it hoping to knock it out of his hands*

As I approach Dami's position, I feel something hard against my kendo. I stop spinning to realize that Dami had knocked my kendo from my hands. I do a flip to land on the ground with Dami behind me and using my right leg I send a roundhouse kick toward his head.
"Don't think you've gotten me yet."

*Seeing no other way to dodge his kick i let one of my knees give way. Now kneeling i bring my kendo to my side andgo for another swingthis time aiming at his leg hold him up*
I think i got you this time

I look down and see his kendo on collision course with the leg that is supporting my weight. I realize that I don't have time to dodge and brace myself. The sword hits my leg and I feel myself going down.
"You're not taking me down that easily."
As I go down, I send my other leg that is currently above Dami straight down toward the top of his head.
"Try to dodge this."

*I let go of my kendo and tilt my head my head to the side letting his kick hit my shoulder. Then with both hands i grab his leg holding it tight to my shoulder. I stand up and throw a kick to His side.*

I knew that I could dodge this, but what I had to do would need to be perfect. I spun the opposite way that his kick was coming from and hooked my other leg onto his other shoulder so that I was sitting on his shoulders. I started pounding his head with my fists but not hard enough to cause injuries besides a little blood.

*I think to myself for small moment
"Wow who knew he would be this good without his kendo"
*I grab hold of Itami's sides fall to my knees and trust my body down to slam Itami on the ground once his legs grip loosen I quickly brake free stand back up and step back about ten feet while he rises to his feet.*

I feel the breath leave my body as I think to myself how could I let him do that to me.
"Good one brother."
I stand up and go over to pick up my kendo.
"Lets see now, I won round 1 and you won round 2. I guess this would be the tie breaker huh."

Yea
*I say as i walk over to my kendo*
Lets make this round a good one okay?
*After picking my kendo up i look at Itami*
Come at me
*I smile and wait for him to make a move*

"I won't hold back!!"
I run straight at Dami and when I'm almost right in front of him, I front flip behind him. With my back still turned to him and take my kendo and jab straight behind me toward his back.
"Eat kendo."

*I Turn around a fast as i can and swing at Itami's neck*
I W.........
*I stop my swing just before it hits itami he only feel the wind off my kendo.*
Dang
*I look down and Itami's kendo was poked just right of my heart.*
Looks like you win. Very Nice.
*I smile and hold my hand out to shake his.*

"I stand up and take Dami's hand. I know you could have done dodged it if you wanted to brother."
We shake hands and I walk back toward the door.
"I'll see you later Dami. I'm going to go practice some of my other skills."
