Meeting of the New

As we walk away from the academy, I listen to the conversation being held between them. At the mention of me training Tachi and the requirement for him to be instated into Squad 12, my ears perked up and I left my thoughts.
I do not mind at all. In fact I think that is a great idea. Tachi will become a very strong person after we're done.
I give a sigh as I think of something that just crossed my mind.
I will meet you too at Squad 12. I must check on something at my squad right quick.
I quickly run off in the direction of squad 5, a puzzling expression upon my face.

*Rizu reached a hand out and placed it on Tachi's head.* You're already a very strong shinigami, Tachi-kun. You're strong enough to face me, I assure you. Have a little more confidence. Itami won't let you leave training weak.

*She smiles at Tachi and holds onto his hand gently.* You're right. But it seems he's found a strong connection to you. Admittedly, I've never seen him so close to another person. He won't let you down. You'll be ready.

I smile as i appear and place my hand on both rizu and the young childs heads. "sorry im late did i miss anything. "I smile warmly at the two." You must be the new student yes?"

*She smiles again and squeezes Tachi's hand reassuringly.* I have the utmost confidence in you. *As Rizu finishes speaking, she feels her father place his hand on her head and she blinks, surprised.* P-papa! *Forgetting that she's still holding onto Tachi's hand, she moves closer to lean against her father's chest.* Oh! Yes. The newest member of my squad.

I smile. "no need to be shy little one i wont hurt you i promis" I smile and kiss rizus forehead. "hi dear how are you"

*As Tachi lets go, she turns around to look at him, still close to her father.* I'm sorry Tachi-kun. This is my father, Honjo Minamoto. *Rizu looks back up to her father, smiling.* This is Takeru Tachiban. Tachi-kun will be sparring me in the near future after some training so I can gauge his strength. I've entrusted him to Itami.

I quickly made my way back to where I'd left Rizu and Tachi. I was hoping that hey hadn't left yet. As I made my way, I made out 3 figures and not 2. This puzzled me, but I soon saw who they were as the figures came became more clear. I wondered why Honjo was there, but didn't give it a second thought. I brought my pace to a walk as I came upon them.
I see we have company.

At rizus words my face hardens briefly before softening as if nothing were wrong "Do you have a place to stay Tachi?" I smile warmly. "theres always room in our home should you need it after the first weak of training. Need not stay in the barracks longer than you need to no?" I smile and look at Itami. "ah, itami...how nice to see you again after you tried to kill my daughter." My look shows a mixture of anger and respect as my fatherly feelings mix with thoes of my rational mind. "What happened to you? if you dont mind my asking"

*She smiles at Tachi gently, nodding.* Please don't hesitate to stay with us Tachi-kun. You're more than welcome in our home. *As Itami returns, Rizu clings onto her father's sleeve as she feels his aura spike angrily and frowns slightly as he speaks.* -Kill his daughter...I never told him about my fight with Itami...A-Aya-chan!?- *Rizu's face darkens and she glances at Itami.* You tried to kill Aya-chan, too?

I give a small sigh at the words of anger spat out by Honjo. I knew this would come sooner or later. The fact that Rizu was here when it happened only complicated things. I lift my head up to look at them both with a stern and unwavering gaze.
I had no control of myself then. I was nothing more than a monster who could barely control his actions. I am sorry for those actions. The fact that I tried to kill Ayame and Rizu is unacceptable. Very unacceptable.

My eyes become silver and darken as my arm is held outwards towards itami it fires off in a sideways pillar of black fire shaped as an extended arm. " You WHAT!?" my reishi spikes dangerously before being quelled almost as instantly by the being within me as my anger and instinct control me. "You did not attempt to kill one but both of my daughters!?" MY anger at a dangerous level does not allow me to even take in the notion he is no longer that monster my rage had already consumed me.

*Rizu stood a moment, clenching her jaw in anger but saw Tachi out of the corner of her eye, feeling his aura become eradic...like a small scale of her mother's. Rizu bursts with freezing cold reiatsu and she grabs hold of her father, gripping around his waist, surrounding them both in her subzero energy.* Papa. Enough!

I could see Honjo losing control over my words. It couldn't be helped. What I'd did was a terrible thing. He sent a blast of black fire at me, and I just stood there, ready to take the blast head on. Suddenly Rizu became angered. Everything around became cold, but no matter how cold she tried to make it, it would never be able to extinguish Honjo's black fire. As the flames neared me, they dispersed right before hitting me. This puzzled me, but I had no time to ponder this. I heard Tachi's words. I knew what was happening, and had to act quick. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him coming. He shunpoed before us and slashed. I saw that his attack would hit Honjo no matter how you looked at it. I darted forward and stood before Honjo, letting the blade hit my shoulder. Blood poured from the wound and I grunted, but ignored it. I jumped forward and quickly kicked out with a spin to knck the sword away, but to also knock Tachi on the ground before spinning and landing on top of him to pin him to the ground.
Tachi stop now.

As my angered mind buzzed i tried to make sense of all the things going on from the arrival of the new hollow beings to this moment and now things began to click in place but something was missing... I snap out of my trance and see the pinned boy and rizu gripping me her cold aura like an embrace of love from my daughter i allowed myself to focus. "mh.. my appalofies. i.. i must take my leave i have some..some important matters to attend to. my offer still stands to you tachi..." i place my hand gently on rizus noding for her to release me.

*Rizu reluctantly released her father and put a cap on her reiatsu, the frost in the air dying away. She gently squeezes his hand and watches him a moment before he leaves, turning her attention to Tachi and Itami. Walking over to them both, she kneels down and gently but swiftly injects Itami with a small amount of regeneration serum for his wounds. Holding her left hand palm-out towards Tachi, she whispers.* Bakudo # [1]9, Horin. *As she speaks, a tendril of orange and yellow energy wraps around Tachi to bind him.*

I growled as I felt him bite my shoulder, but I did not waver as I kept him in place. Once Rizu had successful trapped him in the bakudo, I stood up and went to stand beside Rizu as I looked down upon him. He seemed to have calmed down and that other side of him gone. I felt grateful that Rizu had given me the regen serum.
This would be easier if I hadn't have lost my arms due to my own weakness. I will destroy Fukaku.
