Shake vs Itami

I decide to go for a walk around the Gotei 13. It was a nice day and the sun was shining bright. I was enjoying myself quite well. As I was passing by the squad 12 barracks, I decide to pop in and take a look around.
Maybe I'll run into somebody strong to fight.

*Sitting up against a wall in the barracks, Rizu yawns quietly and shuts her eyes. As she does, she notices the aura of another shinigami poking around. She stands up slowly and stretches, walking towards the shinigami's aura.* Ooooi. Can I help you? *Rizu gives a crooked smile and tilts her head, looking at the shinigami.*

I look over at the Shinigami who had approached me. I give her a stern look and begin to smirk.
I'm looking for somebody strong to train against. I must become better if I want to achieve my goal.
As I say this I'm steadily messing with the black crystal dragon necklace hanging from my neck.

*Rizu takes another two steps towards the shinigami and looks him up and down.* Goal huh? Well, interesting you say that. *She bows her head slightly and smirks.* Rizu Yukino, Lieutenant of Squad 12. Pleased to meet your acquaintance...and always happy to fight.

I give a devilish smirk.
Lieutenant huh. This should be interesting. So do you think you can keep up with somebody like me?
I wait for her answer, all the while playing with my necklace.

*Rizu chuckles slightly and crosses her arms, raising her eyebrow.* Well I've made it this far in my shinigami career, I think I can take it. Is this a challenge then? *She smiles softly and takes one more step forward.*

I lean against the wall and smile.
It looks like it now don't it. I just hope you know what you're getting yourself into. But don't worry, I'll go easy on you. How's that?

*She stops smiling and walks over to him.* Going easy on me? Hmph. I'm afraid I take that as more of an insult than anything else. *Rizu shrugs, walking past him towards the door.* Whatever we're doing, we can't do it here. I won't have you destroying Squad 12's headquarters. *She walks outside and heads towards the forest clearing nearby.*

I smile as I follow her.
If you say so. This should be fun though.
I exit the door behind her and into the clearing.
I hope we don't destroy the forest.
I say this with a sly tone in my voice.

*Rizu looks over her shoulder and raises an eyebrow.* This clearing has held up against plenty of fights, I'm sure it can take one more. Never did catch your name though. *She turns back around and walks until she reaches the middle of the clearing.*

I smile at her nonchalant attitude.
Well I never did give it. The name's Itami Moeru. 3rd seat of Squad 13. Soon to be captain of Squad 9 if I can get my freaking test.
I quickly regain my composure.
Anyways, I hope you're right about this forest. Although maybe I won't need to use it.

*Rizu stands several feet from Itami, with her hands at her sides.* Good luck with that eh? Now then...shall we? *She smiles, tilting her head.* Your move Itami.

I look at her and just shake my head.
If you say so. I guess I'll start things off.
I drop down into my crouching fist stance. I spread my wings out to their fullest. I spread my legs and turn to the right a little bit. I drop down, and ball up my fists with the thumbs sticking out. I then raise my tail to chest level. I bend my elbows a little bit and drop my right elbow below my right knee and raise my left arm with my left fist at head level. I look at Rizu and start to build up my rei.

*Rizu looks at Itami's form and crosses her arms.* Very interesting. *She takes a few steps forward and grins.* Well, this is exciting! *She giggles slightly and begins to glow faintly with white reiatsu.*

I continue to build up my rei. It was for a just in case moment if I needed it. I looked at Rizu. I then took a deep breath and opened them. I launched off my back leg, and appeared behind Rizu. I spun and with that same leg, I sent a roundhouse kick to her head.

*Rizu drops to a kneel as she feels Itami's aura shift behind her. As he kicks, she points her index and middle fingers up at Itami's stomach.* Hado #4, Byakurai. *As she shoots the byakurai, she shunpos above him and holds her left hand palm-out towards him, her right hand firmly grasping her left wrist.* Hado #31, Shakkaho!

I feel the hado 4 and shake it off.
Tch to weak.
I watch as she moves away. She then starts to charge up another hado. I bring my left hand forward and fire a stream of hot flames toward her. All the while I keep building up my rei til I really need it.

Bakudo #39, Enkosen. *She summons a kido shield to protect from the stream of flames, though the force of it against the shield throws her back and shatters the bakudo, tossing her into a tree.* Ungh! *She stands herself up and cracks her neck, wiping her hair from her eyes.* -He's stronger than I thought...I guess I should be on guard.- *Rizu grins, tilting her head.* No more slacking off for me. Shunko. *As soon as she finishes her sentence, she shunpos behind Itami, glowing white. She sends a powerful kick towards his lower back using her Shunko.*

I am able to keep up with her movements with my trained eyes. I smirked as I sensed her kick. With a flick of my tail, I grab her leg. Then I attempt to slam her in the ground. While doing this I turn my body and send my right fist toward her chest. The punch had enough power to destroy a small mountain.

*Rizu crashes into the ground and as Itami raises his fist she whispers.* Bakudo #81. Danku. *A translucent wall appears in front of her, blocking Itami's punch. She points her hand towards his tail and, in anticipation of a close range blast, uses Hagane to minimize the impact on her body.* Hado #54, Haien. *She fires a blast of purple energy towards his tail with the intentions of disintegrating it, resulting in freeing her.*

I feel my fist connect with the kido. I instantly bring it back. Then I feel a sharp sting in my tail. I look and find it totally gone.
You're a tricky one are you. But you shouldn't have done that. Now you pay.
I jump back, and hover a few dozen feet in the air. I put my hands together like Goku does when using the kamehameha. I then produce a burst of fire and lightning. I send it toward Rizu full on. I continue building up my rei.

*Rizu shunpos several feet back from Itami and jumps into the air, narrowly dodging the blast.* Pay you say? Hmph. Then I suppose I should bring this up a notch. *Rizu shunpos higher up into the air, 30 feet above the ground.* Bankai.

*The zanpakuto sheathed on her back begins to dissolve into flakes of snow. They whirl around her and her shihakusho transforms into a bright white kimono, her lieutenant's badge still firmly secured on her right arm and the scarred mark on her chest showing, faintly glowing white. She no longer posesses a sword. She shunpos back to the ground, several feet from Itami.* Hisame: Kori Hana. *She lifts her hand palm-up to her face, forming a small ball of cold, white energy. She blows gently on it, sending it at full speed towards Itami, growing with every second until it's the width of Itami's body, ready to explode on impact.*

I watch her activate her bankai. I nod my head as I am impressed. Her attack comes at me, and so I decide to blast it back. I send a stream of fire straight at the attack. I attempt to keep it back.
Nice powerup Rizu.

*She smiles slightly and nods in acknowledgement to Itami's compliment.* I'm glad it's acceptable to you. *Rizu tilts her head as she smiles wider and immediately shunpos behind Itami, her hands engulfed in freezing cold, white reiatsu. She leans back a bit to increase the power and punches both fists towards his mid-back with extreme force.* Sokotsu!

She had gotten faster. I could barely see her. I quickly turned so my back wouldn't take the full force of it. I am thrown back by the sheer force of it. I land on the ground about 20 feet away. I stand and dust myself off, hiding my pain.
You know, if I had my tail I could've grabbed you.
I fly up into the air to be about even with her. All the while I continue building my rei and I start to hold my gut because of her last attack.
