Zero vs Itami

I was walking passed the Squad 11 barracks when I stopped.
I should see the place that I plan to take over soon.
I walked through the barracks and passed by the squad members. I entered the training field of the barracks. I stood in the center taking it all in.

*Zero calmly and quietly walks outside of the Squad 11 barracks,taking quick notice to an unfamiliar Shinigami,with a strong spiritual pressure around him. Wanting to engage him in combat he approaches the man.*

"Excuse me sir,I haven't seen you around Squad 11 before,have you be recently assigned here or are you of a different squad altogether."

I look back at the approaching Shinigami. I just shook my head as he answers his questions.
I am not of this Squad boy. Now leave me be before I turn you into mothing but charred ashes.

"No wait your spiritual pressure is quite familiar now...I think I remember you helping traini me during my Academy days. Your name was Dami or something right? Cause you look quite similar to this guy I once meet years ago."

*Although Zero,keeps alert,not yet engaging the man but keeping his left hand gripped tightly on the hilt of his Zanpaktou.*

I freeze as I hear the name. I turn my head slowly, but keeping my body in the same direction. My face stays expressionless, but my voice turns to deadly poison.
Don't you ever let me hear you say that name again boy! Keep his name out of your mouth.

*Zero's body freezes up in intimidation,of this frightening man who seems quite familiar to him.*

"He was your brother wasn't he? I apologize for your loss sir, I didn't realize it until now. Matter of fact I believe I remember you now Itami Moeru I think. Graduated from the Shino Academy two years before I did too. But I realize you ended up in the Maggots Nest cause of Captain Koga....Much has changed in all these years hasn't it?"

I turn my body all the way around. I stare at him for a moment.
What's your name boy?
I wait for his answer.

*Zero stands at an attentive salute,taking pride in his squad,as he speaks out his name and position.*

"My name is Zero Kanzaki! 4th seat of the Eleventh Division serving under Captain Kenpachi Zaraki himself. I've trained for years and years and I seek worthy opponents in the art of Zanjutsu,and am seeking someone to train me to perfect my swordsmanship and technique, I've been seeking you out actually,to ask to become your pupil....your apprentice rather."

I keep my face expressionless.
Hmm. He is serious about this.
Why should I let you become my apprentice. I trust only 1 person in this world. That person ain't you. I don't know you.

*Zero sighs in dissapointment,shaking his head sadily as he thinks of words to say to him.*

"Well Itami,your time in the Maggot's Nest must've traumatized you hasn't it? Regardless,I have an idea. I prove my worth to you in a spar...and if I'm worthy enough,you shall make me your apprentice. Is that a deal?"

I look at him.
You know nothing about me and what I have been through in my life. And yet you still want this. You still want to know me.
I ponder this some.
Fine I'll agree to your deal.

*Zero smirks at this statement,and smirks as he readies himself,not yet unsheathing his Zanpaktou,assuming a defensive stance as he smirks slyly at him carefully eyeing every little movement he makes,reading and registering it inside his mind as he already plans a strategy against him.*

"Well now that's the spirit,let's begin when your ready Itami!"

I look at him.
I can tell that I can beat him without trying. Which means I won't go berserk. This is good.
I drop to an offensive stance.
You're the one who have to prove himself. You make the first move.

"Well Itami,I have an idea already, but I think I know how to survive against a stronger opponent!"

*Zero smirks,slyly already having planned a couple strategies and deciding to go with his first plan. He smirks once more as he swiftly shunpo's out of the area,practically dissappearing from the area,as he plans to go inside a random building.Dashing throughout an indoor hallway inside the seireitei,he calmly tones down his spiritual pressure to hide his presence as he tries to lure his opponent to his position.*

I watch as he leaves.
Wow. I'm easily faster than you and can easily find you, but I like this way better.
I raise my right hand. I blast a ball of flame at each building. They all catch fire and the everything inside as well.

*The flames engulf the building as horrid screams of my voice echo throughout the area,as my body begins burning up in an instant,leaving not a single trace of Zero's reishi afterwards. A brief moment passes as a voice echoes out through the area.*

"You didn't think it was that easy to defeat me was it?" Hoho technique,Utsusemi!

*Zero suddenly,flash-steps behind Itami,briefly appearing abour 5-6 feet away from him,cocking his fist backwards as he charges up his spiritual pressure into is left arm,and thrusts it forward at his lower back. Releasing the spiritual pressure at the exact moment of contact intending for a heavy blow.*

Ikkotsu! One-Bone-Punch!

I quickly spin around and let the punch go past me. As the arm goes I pass I unsheath Dami's sword. In a mighty swing I slash at the arm to cut it off. I do all of this in 1 swift fast motion.

*Zero's eyes open widely as a surprized expression on his face quickly appears,swiftly producing a pair of throwing knives from inside his robes, as he swiftly uses one to guard the oncoming blade to the best of his ability,and trying to toss the second at Itami's right arm,intending to draw him out more.*

"I'm more durable than you think and I'm quite sure I'm only going 50% right now. Your not seeing my full power yet."

The knives bounce off my bionic arms. I look at the shini.
That was pathetic. I'm barely using half my power. My necklace here holds back my power. You'll never beat me like that.
I resheath my sword and send a kick toward his gut.

*Zero's eyes widen, this guy isn't even human at all,he must've had a bad experience with Koga I assume.*

"I can tell you had a run in with that guy named Koga didn't you? If it wasn't for your arms being in the state they are,body numbing toxins would've paralyzed your nervous system and your motor skills would be reduced considerably."

*Zero braces himself,as he takes the full impact of the kick,getting sent backwards a few feet,but landing firmly on the ground,spitting a small amount of blood from his mouth,as he draws his Zanpaktou from it's sheath,assuming a left-handed defensive stance intending for either a parry or a counter-attack he calmly holds his position,waiting for his opponent to make a movement.*

I smirk at that.
Do you honestly think that I would let somebody like him touch me. You gotta be kidding me.
I shunpo behind him as he stops. I spin and send a kick toward his side.

*Zero's eyes the opponently movements carefully, closing his eyes he utilizes the seismic sense technique,to use the vibrations and movements of objects within a nearby range to try and pin-point the path of his opponent's shunpo.Knowing his opponent outspeeds him,he realizes that He'll have to out think him and rely on sharper reflexes to survive,Zero makes a swift pivot backwards slightly,with a very small burst of shunpo just to turn himself around,holding out his Zanpaktou diagonally across his body in an attempt to guard the blow.*

"Well....you certainly are a powerful one,I've been carefully gauging your strength so far....and I'd assume your fighting....at a Lieutenant's level?"

I smirk.
At the moment my power is Lt. level.
I feel my leg connect with this Zan. I swiftly spin around. I then send my tail forth to grab his zan and yank it away.

*Zero grumbles angrily as he shouts out to his opponent in anger.*

"Oh c'mon I didn't even get to release my shikai at all yet. I'm still warming myself up here, cause I'm not quite ready to fully unleash it yet."

*Zero,shunpo's backwards slightly,trying to go for his Zanpaktou so he can continue this fihgt.*

I toss him his zan. I jump back a few feet. I look at him with no expression.
Activate your shikai and go all out. I'm slowly getting tired of this.
