Releasing shikai gives Shinji a 25% boost to any Chiyudo he uses.

Passive:Kakudo no tsubasa(Wing of an Angle/角度の翼)-A white angle wing sprouts from Shinji's back on the right side. This wing is used as a sheild from time to time. The wing is as powerful as a bakudo 39.

Spoiler:

Hikari no bīmu(Beam of Light/光のビーム)-Shinji quickly charges up a beam in one(or both) of his blade(s) then fires when he chooses. This beam has the power of hado 33 per blast. This has no recharge time.
There is a second pat of this power however and that is when the two swords are combines they make an even more powerful blast. Essentially a Hado 73. This takes 1 post to charge however.

Hīringurei(Healing Ray/ヒーリングレイ)- The Rams on Shinji's blade come to life.(One can be activated or they both can. It depends on which is needed) These Rams float over their target and fire a ray of holy light from their horns. This can heal medium cuts,remove bruising,quicken the recovery of a injured limb(as in broken arm) or an organ. The more severe the wounds the longer needed to heal. To heal the target must stay in place while the Rams heal. Each ram can be used once every 5 posts.

(Passive)Kakudo no tsubasa(Wings of an angle/角度の翼) Shinji now grow two wings from his back. These wings are used as a sheild for Shinji. Each Wing has the equal strength to a bakudo 81.
