The Graduation of Shinji Takahashi

I sat in a the front row of chairs with my class fro the Shino Academy. Today was the day. Today we graduated from the academy and began our journeys to become Shinigamis. I smiled as I waited. The audience has yet to arrive. Loved ones of my fellow classmates only just began to arrive. I sat relaxed and waited.

As the room began to fill up I sat up and smiled. I couldn't wait to take my stand and be able to join a Squad of the Gotei 13. I sat and waited as my class was being called. Going by alphabetical order. After each name my eagerness only rose.

As I continued to sit I heard my name being finally called after waiting what felt like an eternity. "Takahashi Shinji." The announcer said. The moment he said my family name I stood up and walked up to the center of the stage. I bowed to the head of the Shino Academy as he presented me with an average black zanpaktou. I took it and bowed once more. I went back to my seat,wearing a smile and holding my new zanpaktou in my hands.

After everyone was called I said goodbye to my fellow classmates. I left,knowing tomorrow I will go talk to the Squad Recruiters to join a squad tomorrow.
