Getting closure

*Rizu sits in Koga's old office, or her office rather, staring at the stack of completed paperwork in front of her. She yawns and sits back in her chair, closing her eyes a moment. After working all day and avoiding the mass destruction that was once the SRDI as much as she could, Rizu was more exhausted than she cared to admit.* -Thanks for leaving me with all the unfinished work, taicho.-

*Rizu begins to drift off, giving way to her exhaustion. As soon as she begins to drift, she's snapped out of near-unconsciousness by the sound of footsteps running towards her office accompanied by a very flighty aura. She opens her eyes and sits up straight in her chair as the person knocks rapidly on the door.*

Y-Yukino-taicho? May I come in? I have something I was told to deliver straight to you...

*Rizu yawns once more to get it out of her system and rushes a small burst of cold reiatsu to her head to wake her up a bit.* Come in then. *As she gives the squad member permission to enter, the door creaks open slowly as the anxious young man walks through and shuts the door behind him. She smiles at him, chuckling softly.* Take a breath and relax, you made it.

*The squad member nods and makes his way to her desk, bowing before resting a neatly folded piece of clothing in front of her. As she glances over at it, her eyes widen.* ...What did you say this was?

*The young man remains standing in front of her, bowing his head as he responds to Rizu's question.* We found this in the dangai. It hasn't been altered or cleaned, I first brought it to the Lieutenant and he told me to bring it straight to you. I...I believe you'll know what it is when you unfold it.

*Rizu nods and looks at the squad member, smiling softly.* Thank you for bringing me this. If you don't mind, I'd prefer to look at this privately. *The squad member nods and bows deeply before turning to leave, shutting the door behind him once more.*

*Waiting for the man to leave, Rizu stands up and lifts the white piece of clothing off of the desk and unfolds it, her stomach tightening as she does. She knew immediately what it had been when she received it, but still was hoping she was wrong. Staring straight back at her was Koga's Squad 12 Captain's haori.* Koga...taicho...

*She shakes her head and smiles weakly, holding it to her briefly.* I suppose I knew this was coming... *Hesitating a moment, she brings the oversized haori over her shoulders and puts her arms through the sleeves. Untying the sash of her shihakusho, she pulls it around the haori and re-ties it. Sitting herself back down, she gently holds the bottom of the cloth between her fingers. Smiling, she whispers to herself quietly.* You will always be my Captain, Koga...
