Time heals all

*Rizu walks slowly to the squad 4 infirmary for what seems like hours, though it only took her 10 minutes. Just in front of the doors, she blacks out and collapses. After some time, she wakes up to a young, female squad member healing her wounds.* Nngh...I don't even remember getting here... *The girl smiles at her warmly.* They found you outside, you looked pretty beaten up. There we go...I healed your broken ribs while you were sleeping and most of your wounds have almost completely healed. I'd still recommend that you rest for a while.

*Rizu nods and smiles appreciatively, resting her head back down on the pillow.* Mhm...thank you.

i enter and walk forward. "where is rizuka yukino!" I walk in and look around my reishi slightly contained as i try to contain my rage. "Take me to her!"

I made my entrance after my Captain, noticed how angry he was.

- Honjo-sama, you should calm down... There's a few injured shinigamis here resting...

Rizuka Yukino? I remember hearing this name somewhere, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't belong to the squad...

*Rizu opens her eyes, first feeling her father's aura before hearing him yell. She notices he's with someone else whose aura she does not recognize. She sits herself up to see him, tilting her head with concern in her eyes.* P-papa? Are you okay?

I calm at Karis words and sigh . "im sorry your right." I walk forward and see rizu laying in bed and i rush go hr side." Rizu im fine dear, what happened?"

- It's okay Taicho. - I smiled as I was able to calm him down, even if it was just a bit.

I followed him, keeping some distance as I noticed he was rushing to someone's side.

That girl must be Rizu. Is she his daughter? I could swear I heard her calling him "Papa" a moment ago..."

*Rizu lays back again and smiles up at her father.* Good, I thought for sure something was wrong. *She looks over at the female shinigami he brought with him and smiles.* How rude of me, you must be in papa's squad. I'm Rizu, lieutenant of squad 12.

*She looks back at him and blushes, letting out a nervous laugh.* Well, see...heh...Koga-taicho and I were traveling together and I caught wind of the aura of the arrancar that cut your arm off. Didn't really think, I just went after him and well, he retreated eventually, pretty beaten up but he got his shots in too...heh...Koga kind of saved my ass.

"then i owe that little brother of mine more than i thought. altho i wont let that hollow escape unpunished" I smile " this is Tsukiakari Hansha
shes my new third seat."

- Oh, it's an honor to meet you, Lt. Rizu. - I bowed in respect to her and smiled.

As I thought, she's Honjo-sama's daughter. Sounds like strong blood runs in the family.

Little...brother? *Rizu looks up at her father curiously, shaking her head in confusion for a moment. She lifts her head and looks up at Hansha, smiling.* Great to meet you too. Congratulations on taking third seat, papa must see something wonderful in you.

*Rizu grins, chuckling quietly.* Well had he not gotten lucky I would have blown his arm off. I suppose I got reckless. Koga was not pleased with me, I can tell you that much.

"i suppose not he can be a bit of a prick sometimes" I sigh and grin " and hes a friend rizu almost like a brother so i call him such." I pat kias head" Your right shes very speciala nd has loads of potential and i wish to help her unlock it

- Thank you Lt. Rizu. I'll give my best to fit for the position. - I smiled gently at her.

My cheeks turn into a lightly shade of pink as I'm pated again by the Captain.

Don't blush you idiot! You're making a fool of yourself!

*Rizu giggles and shakes her head.* Of course, figured as much. You know what with all the news lately I can't take anything at face value anymore. *She sighs quietly, thinking about Namine then looks back at Hansha.* You certainly have a strong aura about you. You'll make him proud, I'm sure. *She starts to sit herself up again, beginning to get restless.* Been in this damn bed for who knows how long. *Grumbling, she mutters quietly.* Just woke up here, 'course nobody tells me how long I've been out.

"Well as long as your injured youll stay here rizu." I smile " cant have you dieing or being as recklass as i am now can i." i smile at kia and nod. " so its settled then you will be my 3ird seat and perhaps my lt one day."

- Thank you again fro believing in me Rizu-sama, Honjo-sama. - I bowed once more and I smiled for both. - I already said I accepted the seat Taicho. - I giggled softly.

Oh my god... Now he's putting too much faith on me... I just started...

- I'll never be Lt. material Honjo-sama. I'm still adapting myself like I said before...

*Rizu frowns, grumbling in protest.* I feel fine, just a little sore is all, they fixed me up and I used a bit of regeneration serum in the human world... *She sighs and ends her protest, knowing its futility. She chuckles and tilts her head, studying Hansha carefully.* I wouldn't be so sure. It seems my papa has taken quite a liking to you. I can certainly see why, auras as strongly consistent as your own are not very common. You must have a close bond with your zanpakuto.

I smile and nod. "her reishi control is her only flaw but no one is perfect i myself have the problem to the point it needs to be bound by a spirit." I grin " but ill explain more on that later."

- Yes, me and my zanpakuto are close. Or at least we try our best to communicate once in a while... - I looked over my left wrist. -She gave me this little bracelet to control the temperature of my body, since my reiatsu is a bit too cold... It's a shame it doesn't prevent it from leaking out so much... - I sighed quietly.

*Rizu smiles and shakes her head, looking up at her father.* The new things I'm learning each day about you papa. It never ceases to amaze me how much I truly don't know. *She looks back over to Hansha warmly.* Meditation helps. You have a strong aura, once you get a hang of your rei control your aura will do the rest. *Rizu sighs and squirms again.* I feel better papa, honest. I should get back to the world of the living...

"hmm i dont know." I smile warmly at kia " what do you think? the final choice i leave to you." I grin "because if your going to be my 3rd seat i should train you in decision making atleast"

- Sounds fair enough for me... - I smiled happily. - I'll give my best Taicho!

I need to be able to control my reiatsu if I'm going to be a 3rd seat!

*Rizu gives her father a look.* You torture me, you really, really do. *She looks back at Hansha eagerly.* So I suppose what I do next is in your hands. *She tilts her head, smiling.* What do you say, am I good to leave the infirmary or what?

I smile. "would not be a good father if i didnt hehe." I grin and pat kia on the head."i trust you will do fine Kia i know you will." I smile and with rizu await her answer.

- Well... I... - I looked at both trying to find something to say. - I guess Rizu-sama should stay at least until all of her wounds are fully healed and after her body get the rest it needs...

Why do I have to give my opinion on something like this? She's my Captain's daughter!

*She opens her mouth to protest but then stops, holding back her frustration. Rizu giggles, sighing quietly and smiling softly.* -She'll make papa proud.- Understood. I suppose I'll stay for a little while longer, but first thing in the morning I'm going back to the world of the living!
