A Day of Reckoning

It's been 3 years since he was first accepted into the Academy. He had learned a great deal; both about the Shinigami and himself. And now, the final day had arrived; the day were he would prove or disprove his worth and mettle. But he hadn't come this far to be sn't back now. Not that he had much of anywhere to be sent back to.

Several other students had already been given their final exams. He saw a few of them running to their friends in celebration, and a few that strolled the hallways with their heads in their chests. He wondered which of those poses he would take.

Kyousuke sat patiently on top of the roof of the Hoho Training Hall - a technique he had grown quite advanced in, waiting for his turn. But unlike the rest of the student's exams, his instructor came to him, announcing that someone special would be issuing his Final Exam. His eyes shifted below, wondering who it could be...

Koga walked into the room and saw Kyosuke.
"Hey There."
Koga said bordly,raising his left arm in a hello.
"Whats up?"
Koga asks,yawning at the end.
"I assume your waiting for someone?"

Turning as he hears someone entering, Kyousuke spots the Captain of Squad 12, Koga Wolf, once again gracing him with his presence. He stands to his feet immediately, almost at attention as he answers, "Captain sir, I was told someone besides the Masters here would be giving me my Final Exam."

"hhmm you were told that were you."
Koga looks up at the roof and thinks for a second.
"Oh yea I was the one that put in that request."
Koga says with a smile.
"I have a SPECIAL test for you. If you pass it I will not only grant you approval but I will also accept you into my squad as a low seated officer."
Koga puts his hands behind his head.
"So what do you have to say about that?"
Koga's voice becomes serious for a moment.
"How ever failing will mean you not only not get approved but it might even cost your life."

Having already been through several grueling trials to get even this far, Kyousuke did not balk, looking the Squad 12 Captain right in the eye, "What would you have me do, sir?" He asked in a straight tone.

Kyousuke neglected to mention nearly everything he had done to get here had been threatening to his life; one of those times included when he first encountered Captain Wolf in the Zanjutsu Hall.

"The task is quite simple. Fight me and survive my shikai."
Koga says with a smile.
"In 12 hours meet me in the forest,there will be a strange green light beckoning in the sky which u will only see,it will be a large field with nothing except trees on the border. A perfect arena."
Koga walks out the door.
"See ya there."
Koga shunpoes off to the senkimon.

"Yes sir." Kyousuke replies nonchalantly. He wasn't sure where the Captain was going as the Senkaimon was opened. Although, in the end, he wasn't that concerned about it. He had been studying, training and waiting for this moment; the moment where he would join the ranks of the Shinigami, or return to the Rukongai.

He walks out of the Hoho Training Hall, making his way towards the mentioned forest to await the Captain...
