Facing Dami's Killer

Razor face turned to that of rage. He sonidoed after me. I shunpoed straight for him. We locked against each other. My zans locked with his claws. He tried pushing me back, but I was to strong. I pushed him straight back, and forced him away from me.

I looked at Razor. Desperation clung to his face. I looked at him with a look of no mercy. I pulled both my arms back. I brought them forward and made an X shaped slash with them.
Gengetsu Aka!! Gengetsu Aoi!!
I created an arc of fire and an arc of lightning and they crisscrossed to form a X.

The attack hit Razor head on. He tried to fight it off, but it was too much for him. He was engulfed in it and his body began to dissipate. He was totally destroyed and the battle was over. I flew down into the building, to get Dami's sword. I landed and my body began to feel weird.

I bent over in pain and grabbed my stomach. I don't know what was wrong with me, and I couldn't even stand up.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!!
I yelled into the sky, but that didn't make me any better. I went down on both my knees, and couldn't even lift my head.

My body began to glow red and blue. My wings folded around my body against my will. My tail wrapped around me. My body started floating in the air about 3 feet and it curled into a ball. I began to get surrounded by my own rei and I felt something inside of me changing.

Honoo: Itami.
I began to hear the voices of my zans calling to me.
Inazumi: It's time Itami.
I found myself facing them. There was a massive wind swirling around us, and Honoo and Inazumi were looking at me with an expression of approval.

What are yal talking bout it's time? Time for what?
I stared at them expectantly.
You have mastered Shikai Itami.
You are obtaining the full power of your shikai.
I looked at them in surprise.
So I've really mastered it huh?

They both nodded.

Until then, just keep getting stronger.
After that, a mass of rei was projected from them. It began to surround me, and I felt myself being lifted. I felt my eyes closing and next thing I knew I was back in the building still curled up in a ball.

I felt my body snap back, and the rei that was building up was released. The entire building was destroyed from the force of it. I stood in midair hover above the ground. I felt my the power in my body and it felt great. My zans had changed to a more manageable form, and the chains were no longer attached to my arms.

I looked around at the ashes around me.
This power is great.
The new form of my zans was really to my liking. I dropped to the ground and began looking for Dami's sword. I found it under a pile of ashes. I held it up in front of me.
This was for you Dami.

I tried to revert back to my sealed form, but found it impossible.
What is going on? Why can't I go back to my sealed form?
I tried it again, but still wasn't able to do it.
Maybe Ajiro will know why.
I took my zans and when I found that if I put them close to my back, the chain would wrap across my body and connect to my zan on the other end, forming a makeshift sheath. After that, Dami's sword was the only sword I held. Since I didn't have a sheath for it, I would just carry it.

I began flapping my wings and took to the air. I turned in the direction of the Ronin base. I held Dami's zan tight and took off in that direction. I was flying a lot faster and it felt great with the wind hitting my face.
