An opportunity arises

*Racing into the Kido field, she exhales and stops.* -4:59, on the mark. Now I wait. This is it Rizu, you've been given a chance. Don't mess it up.- She clasps her hands nervously and looks around.

At 5:05 Koga walks onto the feild,his sheathed zanpaktou in his left hand,blade and sheath facing downwards.
"Hey your here. Hope you diden't wait to long."
Koga says lazily as he walks over to Rizu.
"Whats up?"

*Rizu looks up to see Koga and smirks, shaking her head.* I had a feeling it'd be you. I didn't wait long at all, I've just been trying to contain my excitement at this point. *She chuckles nervously and shrugs.* Yourself?

"Im bored senseless."
Koga sticks his sheathed zanpaktou into the ground beside him and points his right index finger at a nearby tree.
"Behind that tree is a rubic cube. Solve it in under or exactly in 12 minutes 12 second and 12 miloseconds. Your time starts now."
Koga waits bordly counting the time in his head with precise counting.
The rubic cube looks perfectly brand new but in reality Koga changed two of the stickers and used an unknown oil to make it look perfectly new,putting the oil on each cube, and putting it in a small locked box behind the tree the day he fought Rizu.

*Rizu walks to the tree and looks behind it. Sure enough, there's a box there and she reaches for it and attempts to open it.* -Hm. Locked.- *Without wasting any time, she concentrates reiatsu into her left hand and hammer punches down towards the crease of the box where it's locked. It snaps open and she retrieves the rubics cube.* -Shouldn't be too hard. Unless that's what I'm supposed to think.- *Rizu begins to rearrange the panels carefully, keeping a mental note of each direction she turns. She stops briefly, smelling something odd permiating from the cube.* Hey Koga. What'd you drench this thing in before you left it for me?

Koga looks at Rizu with a raised eyebrow.
"Nah I just bought a brand new shuffled rubic cube. I have a guy in Squad 12 do it for me."
Koga continues to count in this head
"2 minutes,15,seconds,14 miloseconds."
Koga thinks to himself,keeping up with the count of the miloseconds.

*Rizu shakes her head and raises an eyebrow, going back to the rubics cube.* -He's lying. What did he do I wonder...- *She continues to turn the panels, though no matter what combinations she creates, she can't seem to get the last two panels to match fully.* -This isn't right. I've gone through every twist and turn logic dictates to work.- *Rizu shakes her head and frowns, continuing to turn the panels.*

"10 minutes."
Koga says as the time hits 10 minutes,continues to count even as he talked.
"Common just a lil more."
"12,23,21"
Koga counts in order from minutes to seconds.

*She shakes her head and continues to twist and turn the panels.* It's been tampered with. It defies each pattern I've tried. *Rizu closes her eyes and spins the panels, attempting to remove a visual bias from the feel of the cube.* -There has to be something...-

"11 minutes."
Koga speaks,continuing to count in his.
"Think outside the box."
Koga watches the sky as he counts.

*Rizu opens her eyes to see the panels in the same stalemate; 2 remaining panels unmatched.* -Alright. That's it. If I can't match the pattern, I'll change the pattern.- *Clenching her jaw, she analyzes the placement of each colour on the two panels. Carefully she lifts two of the stickers and switches them, smoothing them over with her fingers. She gets to her feet and walks over to Koga, completing the last two panels as she walks.*

Koga claps as he stops counting in his head.
"11 minutes. 43 second and 22 Miloseconds"
Koga holds his hand out to take the cube.
"I'll be taking that now."

*Rizu nods and holds her hand out to give Koga the cube.* You didn't make it easy you know. *She looks up at Koga quizically and frowns slightly.* -Nothing with him is ever going to be easy.- What now then?

"hhmm what do I do now?"
Koga says as he looks up into the sky.
"Not many people get this far. "
Koga looks back down at Rizu.
"Well I guess I should Welcome you to Squad 12. As you know im 3rd Seat Koga Wolf."
Koga puts the cube flatly in his right palm and fires a hado 31 up into the sky,blowing up the cube.
"I trust you know where the barracks are. I must get going. Other manners to attend to."
Koga shunpoes away after a small bow,taking his zanpaktou and turning it back into a book.

*Rizu's eyes widen and she grins, bowing deeply.* Thank you, so much. I know where the barracks are. *As Koga leaves, Rizu begins walking out of the Kido field and in the direction of the squad 12 barracks.* -You did it. You've finally found your place.-
