"I'm here. what do you want?" Fukaku yells, looking for his opponent. a few beams of light shone into the building, but Fukaku seemed to touch none of them.
"Thanks for coming here unguarded, Nayamasa Fukaku, This really makes things easier for me."
"what are you-" Fukaku was cut off as he dodged an arrow. "Who are you, who would shoot at a fellow quincy?"
"Name's Garris Lang, and I'm a bit disappointed in the current leadership. How about you?"
"The Ancients know what they're doing. I have no problem with them, and I'm not going to betray them."
"...I see. I was hoping you might be smart enough to join my revolution."
"The shinigami have decimated our ranks enough, that I don't feel it wise to cause further damage to our own."
"Well, then, in that case, your services in this life are no longer required." Garris said, stepping out of the shadows. His white spiky hair a contrast to his black quincy garb. "Allow me to take it for you."

"No worries, I'll be sure to." Garris replied, firing an arrow at Fukaku.
"Too slow!" Fukaku said, using hirenkyaku to get behind Garris.
"I'm not the one who's too slow." Garris answered, hirenkyakuing behind Fukaku, before firing an arrow.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, you are." Fukaku said, going behind Garris, and firing.
"...damnit." Garris said, managing, just barely, to stop the arrow from hitting a vital area, instead hitting his shoulder.
"This isn't over." Garris said, readying his bow.
"No, not yet. It'll be over when I hand your unconscious body to the Ancients.

Fukaku took out a chalice. "Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - sacred bite!" He incants, making a block come into existence, and move to hit Garris. "too slow." Garris taunted "Maho Teishi!". A large barrier came into existence, blocking the attack. "thanks - I knew you would do that." Fukaku replies, behind him. "Fu-" Was all garris got out before being pelted with arrows. "It's over." Fukaku replies. "Good show, Fukaku" was heard from the roof.

"eh?" Fukaku asked, noticing the Quincy here. "masters of your craft... Why are you here, honored Ancients?". "To observe your progress." One of them said, in a hooded robe. "It's exceptional progress, by the way.". Fukaku scratched his head. "I don't understand..."
Garris, getting up and now seeming fine, explained "This was just a test of your loyalty and strength, both of which you passed with flying colors." He said, grinning. "You almost wounded me for real there a few times. You keep growing like that, and you'll end up being a real monster..." Garris Commented, smirking. "I understand now. Thank you for the challenge. I am sure I shall grow even more from this."
